This is not the Saturday go to the range and blow through 100 rd. rifle. Heck, my 1891 Argentine Mauser, is just fine with 15-25 rds.(Than my shoulder is sore for an extra day),... Plus, for now, I have the up close defensive "inside the wire" assortment covered. This rifle would be for another application.
First, since I was a kid, with a Crossman 760 air pump BB/pellet rifle, I have loved rifle shooting. Pistol shooting was the cats meow, BUT
rifle shooting, "The Art Of The Rifle", which I have been reading again....has always been a pursuit of never ending improvement.
"The rifle is a weapon. Let there be no mistake about that. It is a tool of power, and thus dependent completely upon the moral stature of its user. It is equally useful in securing meat for the table, destroying group enemies on the battlefield, and resisting tyranny.
In fact, it is the only means of resisting tyranny, since a citizenry armed with rifles simply cannot be tyrannized."My Sig556, Saiga AK, Winchester 30-30, Mauser, and 10/22, love them all, for what they are. This would take it to the level that would be the top of the heap. (until I win the powerball),..

Doesn't happen often, but when you have that hard to describe feeling, that target, that "zone", than it is just a matter of time.
Next year, I'll get the Sharps.

Thanks for all the posts.
