I can't forget to mention my German Shepherds! I had two, first came Chief he was good dog that didn't like strangers! I already had the little German Alarm but I wanted one with a bite to it! Unfortunately I had to put him down in late 06' at only 2 yrs. old due to Kidney failure.

He love to be with us in bed and out!

In early 07' I got Liberty from a local rescue. She was about a year old when we got her, and I was forced to put her down just this last Oct after she busted her back some how and ended up paralyzed from her middle to her tail.

Libby was a great lovable dog, a couch potato through and through! The couch was her space, when we went to bed she would lay down with us for about 10 min and then she'd get up and go sleep on the couch!

I loved them both dearly and miss them immensely! I've been unable to fill the hole in heart from the loss of Libby and haven't been able to look for another dog yet. Time will heal I'm sure, but as many of you know It sure is difficult and still hurts today. I'm not sure if it sucks more to lose your dog after along and happy partnership or when their so young like I did. The wife an I don't have kids, so we pour a lot of love and attention into our pets. I guess I'm just grateful I still got little Chaquita and Riley. Their both real lovable! Riley's a real purr machine and Chaquita can lick your face-off!

P.S. Bill, I don't mean to drag down the thread with a sad story, but I had to mention my Babies!
