and "at this point in time'....the word is NOW!

Very True.  Because by the time you get those words out, this has become that. What about right now...or now...or now...or now?

There exists a law, not written down anywhere but inborn in our hearts; a law which comes to us not by training or custom or reading but by derivation and absorption and adoption from nature itself; a law which has come to us not from theory but from practice, not by instruction but by natural intuition. I refer to the law which lays it down that, if our lives are endangered by plots or violence or armed robbers or enemies, any and every method of protecting ourselves is morally right.

To elaborate on M58's (correct use of 's noting possession not plurality) comments. If you are that concerned about grammar, you are on the wrong forum. Here we have command of weapons usage. Word usage, not so much. Remember most of us were publicly edumacated.  ;D

Yadda Yadda Yadda.

This is not The Flintstones!  Finish your thought using actual words.

How about; "in the future."  Of course in the future.  In the past would not be relevant.

"The fact of the matter is..."  In this case, the fact of the matter is used by people who were having trouble meeting the required quantity of words on those word count essays they were forced to write in high school.

That would be M58s', because it is both plural (multiple randomness) and possessive (mine ... all mine, because no one else would want them)  ;D

Yeah...  And while we're at it, get a handle on there, their, and they're.

We might want to hit to, too and two and compliment/complement while we're at it too. I think this stuff is on the rise because of the casual tone used in email, messaging and social media and the fact that only 30% of U.S. 8th graders can read at grade level.

Why say "price point" when "price" will do just fine.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. Letter to Alexander Hamilton, Friday, May 02, 1783
