Well, Swoop, this 'old man' is about to go run around with 18 to 22 yr old coeds.  Out run most of them, to be precise.

Yes, the soccer silly season is upon me, and I'm looking forward to being invited out to drink with them afterward, which happens often.  Most women assume I'm in my mid thirties.  ;)  I of course, politely (and stupidly) beg out.  :'(

My pet peeve is "decimated".

Most ignorati use it to mean devastated or destroyed, when in fact it comes from the Roman army practice of selecting every 10th man for punishment, such as if a legion showed cowardice on the battlefield. Decimating could be flogging, but most likely the punishment was to be beaten to death by your own comrades in the cohort.

That is, every 10th man was physically eliminated from the legion through a nasty and gruesome method of killing.

Oh, BTW, Re: 's does not a plural make - ye's it doe's.
