Some guy, looked a lot like the guy who played the President and also looked like the guy who played that English Colonel on the air base.

Went and saw Borat and got some laughs and giggles, so thought I'd go see Bruno.  W.O.R.S.T. movie EVER.  Offensive to nearly everyone in the known world, and some who aren't.   Another that comes really close is Hedwig and the Angry Inch. I have no idea how I found myself watching that wretched flick, but I wanted to poke at my mind's eye with a sharp stick.  Still do if I happen to think about it because I was REMINDED BY A CHAT ROOM TOPIC.  (Thanks, guys)

Possibly my worst movie watching experience happened with one of the best movies.  Hell in the Pacific w/Toshiro Mifune  and Lee Marvin.  Lee's lines were all in English.  Mifune's lines were all in Japanese.  I saw that flick while on R&R with a buddy in Japan.  The two of us laughed out loud at one of Lee's better scenes (had to do with peeing from a tree branch).  Then we realized EVERYONE else in the theater was staring directly at us and nobody looked happy.  We did our best to be invisible for the rest of the flick. LOL

Even at a ball game, when someone talks during the anthem or doesn’t take off his hat, it pisses me off. I’m not one to be quiet about it, either.”  Chris Kyle

Anything with Tom Cruise, Keanu Reeves, quite a few with Swayze (RIP), several of Costners and the more they work, the less I like them, DeNiro and Pacino......  B Movies all are meant to suck, just don't watch them.  It's the movies that get all the hype with overpaid top notch actors that fall flat bother me.  It's why I don't bother to pay theatre prices to watch them.  Today, at most, I'm out 5 bucks, usually no more than a buck.  I agree on Avatar....waste of blue boobies.....

JMO...

"Heat".....yea, good gunplay though overdramatic but, making hero's out of bank robbers and murderers sends the wrong message for me...almost touching when DeNiro finnaly got wasted in the end...boo freaking hoo!  Another dead asshole!

For me it has to be "The Day After Tomorrow". They acknowledge in the movie that radical climate change occurs ever 10K years, but then go on to attribute the current "problem" to man made global warming.  ::)

I find most anything the critics rave about, totally stinks on ice. I offer up the greatest cure for insomnia ever devised, "Sophie's Choice". Meryl Streep is a "Critically Acclaimed Actress". Right there it tells me I couldn't stay awake through one of her movies on a bet.   Bill T.

Twilight's like soccer. They run around for 2 hours, nobody scores, and its billion fans insist you just don't understand.
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

Amen!
I could say the same about Nascar or politics in general. As a very Southern friend of mine put it, when were watching the world cup in Texas, "One, nothin' that's what that they ought to call this, one nothin' 2 hours and that's all the hell ever happens!" She was not converted. Good on you phil, stick to Aussie rules football or hurling. Those are games for men. ;D

District 9 was great...Cloverfield was awful.

But this is an inefficient way of determining bad movies.  Almost all movies suck, so we should just list the good ones.  Worst recent movie...Avatar.

...yep....Avatar sucked out loud. Pure left-wing horse puckey.  Glad I saw it for free.
