This just turns my stomach.   Now Larry Potterfield is the key villain in distributing "hiigh capacity"  magazines.

Ronnie Barrett is best known for the invention and civilian marketing of the 50 caliber sniper rifle: a military weapon used by U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan that can penetrate armor-plating from a mile away and down airliners on take-off and landing, but under federal law is sold with no greater restrictions than a standard hunting rifle. I'd like to see that trick. How do you shoot down an airplane that's landing? If you miss it's still coming down.

VPC, like all socialist special interest groups has no choice but to engage in Orwellian "Newspeak" since their ideas have consistently failed where ever they have been applied.

Actually, there is more restriction on hunting rifles than there should be...

To make Larry Potterfield into Mr. Potter is quite the stretch.  I don't think you could find a nicer guy anywhere. 

And FWIW, VPC scare tactics do more to sell STANDARD CAPACITY magazines than ALL the pro-gun advertising combined.  They should be the gun salesmen of the year this year.

Actually there is more restriction!

It falls under the so called assault weapon classification and is treated as a hand gun in many areas.

We have far too many restrictions on the firearm industry, and we MUST expand the fight to disband the anti's grip on our freedoms!

Logic is not there strong suit.  Just on the headline.   Let me think.  If I were selling magazines, would I rather sell FOUR 5 rounders or one 20 rounder.   Hmmmm.   Seems a magazine ban might mean MORE magazine sales, not less.

 Haven't read the whole article yet, but had that thought just from the headline.

Hi,

     How about all of us sending an e-mail to Larry Potterfield in the form of support and thanks for what he does for the average person. When the time comes to buy some product - think of Midway USA first and price last ?

     I have no financial attachments to Midway - but the series "Cowboys" is sponsored by Midway ( when it comes back in 2012 ).
