I just caught a commentary by the new guy, Lawrence Mcdonnalll?, I'm guessing at the name, on his new show "The Last Word" on MSNBC.  He's the one who took over for Olberman.
He called on the president and congress to take action on the "Merchants of Death" that own companies that sell high capacity mags and also have members that sit on the NRA board of directors to advance their agendas.
He also challenged the NRA to come up with one instance when a high capacity magazine ever saved someons life when attacked by a criminal.
Well guys, got any instances?    I think we should bombard them with some if we can,  not that they care anyway.

Who the hell does this clown think he is, that I have to produce anything to justify LEGALLY owning what he doesn't want? Screw him, and the horse he rode in on!  Bill T.

Do not let the grabbers set the agenda. This is not about hi-cap mags, this is about the gummint trying to tell you what you "need" and the libtards that support that action.

Once again this is a time when we can't get sucked into arguing specific items first.  These are the times and instances when every response starts with the Second Amendment, the intentions and meanings of the founding fathers and how item "A" fulfills that purpose.

I have quit just quoting the Second Amendment.  I read two sources that explained that in Old English (language of the 18th century) regulated was defined as functioning, and that militia is any fighting force.  Today I will phrase that sentence as "they intended us to be able to form a well functioning fighting force."

For you Ted haters I ask you to turn the speaker volume down before I say this:  Listen to Ted Nugent when he debates.  Nearly every speech, comment or reply starts with the actual Second Amendment, a paraphrase of it or a portion of the Amendment.  We need to go back to that one simple statement for every argument concerning firearms ownership and use.

Yes, we need to not let the anti-'s set the agenda by picking apart the 2nd amendment one item at a time.  "Need" does not enter into the picture.

Back over to Larry,  I sent an email thanking him for his support of gun rights.  I got a nice "thank you" back today.

i'm sure there are many many cases where a leo was saved, but thats just playing into thier hands.  I'm also sure there are plenty of times with SHTF where it did, but once again, that places right into thier hands.

What would be great is to find some on in a state like CA that has limited mag capacity and showed how the lack of capacity cost them thier life.  I'm sure if you look you will find one, just hopefully its not a gang banger.

I have emailed thanks and heads up on issues to him in the past and have always received very nice emails back.  I plan a thank you email on this as well, but I am going to include an order.  I started making a list last evening, and will edit it before I leave town this week.

Midway USA isn't the only good company out there, but the Potterfields have done things well over the years and they are returning their success to the people that support them.  I would love to see cheaper prices, but I like the support to all the organizations better.  And I would not do as well sending to them if I did not have the option to do it through my purchase.

This is typical of the socialist left on all subjects. They are unable to attack the facts because their own policies have a consistant history of disastrous failure, whether economics, or guns.
So instead they attack the people presenting the honest facts, like Beck, Palin, or Larry Potterfield.

Got a personal reply today also.
Nice guy.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison
