Had a chance to rummage through the ammo cans for the "breaking-in" ceremony. I grabbed a variety of .223 & 5.56x45 ammo, old GI mil-surp mags, P-Mags, Stoner mags, my factory Sig556 mags, even an old Orlite mag.
Had Remington 55gr. .223
Wolf, yes even some .223 Wolf.
PMC Bronze 55 gr. .223
Federal 55 gr. .223
XM193 5.56
Silver Bear 62gr. HP
M855 62gr. Green Tip (not many, 1 mag worth),...

American Tactical Tracer Rds.
Loaded up, off we go.
Very methodically I started with the Rem/ Wally World .223. with a target at 50 yds. Two rds. in a Stoner mag. One shot. and had my shooting partner grab the ejected rd. to inspect. Just in case, I wanted to check the firing pin strike, condition of brass, etc,..Second rd. to make sure the bolt locked open on last rd.
NO issues. It's so light compared to my Sig, very easy to shoot,
love the Ergo Grip, and VLTOR stock! Thank you bafsu!!Rotated through two magazines. Ran a patch, with a little Hoppe's on it down the bore, Lather, Rinse, Repeat.,..

The Single-Stage Bushmaster Trigger is "SCARY" Light..But in a good way. Not like my two stage Sig556 trigger, and not as soft as my friends M&P 15T's ..Very crisp.
"I LOVE THE MICULEK COMPENSATOR" Thank you m25 for the tip on it. I urge all of you AR folks to invest in some form of comp.....They make follow up shots, and muzzle rise a thing of the past. Although, the concussive blast for folks standing around me was slightly larger.
The shots were
ALL printing very high, at 50yds. Higher at 100 yds.. I adjusted my sight picture and made hits. But, thanks again to m25, after a telephonic consult....Said:
"
Just Raise the front Sight".....

Well, I didn't have an AR sight adj. tool. (Now I do),...but I kinda felt dumb to not bring one. Regardless, that issue, was the ONLY issue. and I have laser bore-sighted it, (with the tool), and should be spot on.
Ate all ammo, with all mags, not one hiccup. Mags dropped freely, tap-rack-and rolled perfectly. Ejected shells had great hang time. The night and day difference between a comp'd carbine, and a non-comp'd is the big thing. Keith has since ordered a comp, and VLTOR rear stock.

Also helped Keith zero his 30/30 Marlin, and the G21, 27rd. extended mags are a BEAR to load after 17-18rds. Also NO issues, except I couldn't fight all 27 rds. in there...

Plus met Guido. This guy is great.

Shoots nothing but Black Hills ammo in his Colt Carbine, drives an S-class Mercedes, little Italian fella, that can shoot like a "hitman"...(I guess he's a retired hitman"...)

Ordered the Enidine hydraulic buffer from botach tactical to reduce recoil even more....What a great rifle. Next will be a custom upper.
