You think she was behaving poorly? She abused her authority?
I don't think she "abused" anything. I think she most likely made a bad call. It could have happened to anyone. From the looks of the remainder of the video it doesn't appear like they found a weapon on him. She for certain should have said nothing to the other cop. Her exclamation of "It looks like he had a gun
or something, I dunno." was a very foolish statement to make. Was it a gun, "or something"? She should have known before she capped him. However, with that said, these things happen to cops. Their career could easily end, and they could find themselves being brought up on charges with one wrong decision like that. Do women make these type of errors under heated, possible life threatening situations more than men? I don't know what the actual stats are, but I wouldn't want a female drawing down on me for any reason. Too emotional, but that's just me. Bill T.
