I know I'll probably catch hell for this, but am I the only one that got chills up and down his spine, from the term "poliitical youth camp".

I did....and got larger ones when I read the King's statement calling these political indoctrination camps a measure of the political freedom in Norway....and vowing that this terrorist would not stop that freedom.

Here's The Financial Times' take on it (and they are about the most unbiased paper out there). You have to agree with Tom here. If this fool wanted to start a war of civilizations, why not kill a bunch of muslims and wait for retribution, and counter-retribution? I mean hell, Osama got that. He didn't blow up a few mosques and say "Take that America". ::) This guy is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Not to mention, gunning down children at camp? Who the hell is going to sign on to that agenda? :'(

"Those who do not learn history are condemned to repeat it." The liberal indoctrination you were subjected to in academia makes you over look the obvious.
The majority of ,so called, normal people will go along with it if it is marketed properly.
What civilized European society would go along with massacring people based on ethnicity or religion ?
And it wasn't just Nazi Germany, the Poles, Russians, Hungarians, Romanians, Ukrainians, and Latvians were all OK with it.
And it wasn't just in the 40's either, it was only a few years ago Serbs were massacring Muslims and Croats while Croats were dealing with their Serb and Muslim prisoners by lying them down in the street then driving tanks through.

Yeah, but those atrocities were done in the name of retribution for real or perceived wrongs. You don't start by attacking your own if you want a war between civilizations.

The reasoning is the similar to Charles Manson, Helter Skelter. But I don't see how he plans to get the blame for the atrocity passed off on the rag heads.

I'll use simple words so maybe you'll get it this time.

The reports said he was mad at his own people and wanted to punish them for what they did wrong by letting the mooslims in.

Got it now?

BTW - this may all change as more and more of this moron's ranting get analyzed and/or he opens his mouth. Not sure I want to "understand" a crazy person, though.

You've forgotten the pictures of the Pope shaking hands with and greeting Hitler.

If you don't think it can happen, read up on "The Wave", the name of a "cult" in a Palo Alto high school in 1967.  they were studying Nazi Germany and the kids expressed wonder at ho the German people could be so stupid as to let it happen.

The teacher explained that they didn't do their own thinking, they "followed the crowd" and swallowed what their charismatic leader said.

He proposed they start working to encourage folks to think on there own, not to just buy into what is told to them.

That is how it started.  Here is a link:

According to several sources, the mass murderer purchased legally a shotgun, a Ruger Mini-14 and a Glock 17. This is also according to his own statements.

What he used on the island was a handgun and possibly a shotgun. No confirmation if he used any of the firearms he had registered.

He was also a registered hunter and a member of a local shooting club. At the time of his purchases, he passed the background check and other requirements for owning firearms for hunting and for shooting competitions.

Sad time for my fellow Norwegians.....

Heard a report that the majority, if not all on the Island were Arabs/Muslims.
Any truth to it ?

All I know as of now is that the majority of the people there were members of the Labour Party's Youth organization. Lots of conflicting information right now, so I would not conclude until things calm down. Btw.... the number of deaths at the camp is now downsized to 68.
