I have met a few people on ARFCOM. But really like all the good folks on here. Even my wife was jealous of DRTV for a while so I had to cut back before we had to go to counseling. Can't get on the computer there while being nagged at for being neglectful. If she knew as much about firearms as you folks than maybe we would talk more.... ;)

Great crew of people and the moderators too for putting up with us. ;D

But I am proud to say that I have never, ever, never, ever been sent to the corner.........................YET!!!!

FIFY   ;D

Not to pat myself on the back, but I think it speaks volumes that our moderators don't need to act.  I have been on and followed forums where the moderators are the busiest participants, and there are constant complaints about the moderators and their actions.

We get along well on here, and even when there is a fight we don't have to rely on the heavy hand of mommy  ;)  The toughest we have had was RP keeping us on topic in his area, and I have no problem with the way he handled or what he handled - It was just a matter of reminding us the purpose or moving a topic to a better place.

I guess my point is that I will take quality over quantity any day, and for those to prefer the other they can go else where.

One grain of truth is more valuable than a pound of chaff. I don't read a lot of chaff at DRTV.

Unless there's a missile on your tail, then 100 pounds of chaff don't seem like enough.

Correct there.
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

I, for one, am glad it is not a huge forum.  If you go to some of the bigger ones, AR15.com comes to mind, there are a bunch of a-holes that post there.  A new person can ask a simple question, and they go off on them about that question has been asked a million times, and why don't you use the search feature.  Just plain rude over there.

Around here we just let the resident memory genius Mr. Bogan post a link to the last discussion  ;)
