It's tom,....he has the historical stats to back it up....
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

If either Perry or Gingrich would think for a minute, they could turn this Bain mess into a closed subject, if either would only say that "They're running for President of the United States, not Investor in Chief. EVERY American job is worth fighting for! No (non-government) jobs are simply disposible".

I don't guess any of their highly paid consultants can get that far in their thinking, though..

So what the dickens is wrong with Ann Coulter?!
What about Hannity?! He's having palpitations because a primary is a heated process!!!
This "inevitability" thing with Romney gets fed because so called Conservative Pundants want to run the campaigns of every candidate in the race, but raise "clean hands" when anybody looks at them as part of the debate..

Can nobody see this stuff?

I think, though this country is capable of electing the most leftist, Marxist, socialists to ever hold office, we can no longer be expected to elect a true conservative!  The media will not allow it and the sheep will just go where the feed trough is located when the dinner bell rings for their next meal of bias!  "Hey Ma, American Idol starts tonight!"....

The far right is too far right for me and anything left is unacceptable!  None of the candidates, so far, are true conservatives in my opinion but I don't necessarily think that makes them unelectable or undesirable either!

They all have made one thing perfectly clear during several debates;  that any one of them would be an acceptable alternative to Barrack Hussein Obama for the next four years!

I'm still waiting for, and at my age it may never happen, for the candidate that looks at the Constitution and the situation the nation is in rather than polls.

I'm waiting for the candidate that will look the career welfare recipients, the occupy wall street and the free health care for all crowds in the eye and tell them to get off their ass, get a job, and give to those in need.

I am waiting for the candidate that will remind us all that personal responsibility starts with the person and not the government.  And this is why I agree with Rastus in his stance on Newt.  Repeat offenders have had their second chance and shown their character flaws are more than a simple mistake.

I will continue to be a voter that votes based on stance and not about electability.  Remember, I voted for Gov. Ventura on a principle, and the entire state of Minnesota was shocked when he won.
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.

I think you just stated, so eloquently, what we all are waiting for Mike!  Does that person exist?  I don't know but I'm willing to bet that he or she does!

BTW...my big sister voted for Jesse too for similar reasons!  Principle is a noble thing!

Well put.

I have stated on several occasions and I have long maintained that we will never again see the candidate that America NEEDS to run for PoTUS.......... Simply because the man (or woman) that we need to be smart enough, moral enough, and agenda-less, won't run BECAUSE they are smart enough to stay away from the media prying and mudslinging.......in effect, smart enough to walk away.
We are stuck with people who want the position for all the wrong reasons.

We no longer have statesmen.

I agree that Newt has the intelligence level from a certain perspective, but I don't know if America can overcome the 'baggage'. I don't agree with many things he has done in his personal life, but if I thought for one minute that he had the sense to do the job of PoTUS with the best interest of the nation at heart, I might vote for him, despite the aforementioned personal misgivings.

This ain't gonna be easy, folks.

"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

I've made up my mind.  No vote for Romney.  Not now, not ever.

Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom.
It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.
