Hi folks,
After watching the episode about the Sig Arms factory, I decided to check out this web site. You see, I've heard many people praise the Sig, but the Sig 232 that I purchased for my wife several years ago has turned out to be nothing but a piece of junk. Failure to feeds are common, I've had two breakdown leavers come loose and the gun isn't particularly accurate. It's the one that tends to be left in the case when we go to the range.
I guess I've been shooting for somewhere between five and perhaps eight years. I prefer handguns that "get the job done" over high dollar fancy pieces. I've settled on the following:
A Glock 30 - this is a wonderful weapon, about as accurate as anything I own (except possibly the CZ) and stone reliable.
CZ-75B - Affordable, accurate, very well made, beautiful and has an action like a knife through butter. Every now and then (rarely) I've had a feed problem though.
Kahr P-9 - Reliable, well made, easy to conceal
Kel-Tec P3AT - tiny - easy to conceal in the Texas summer heat
I guess that my mindset is that if a gun works well, then what else do you need?
