Hey John from NE Ohio.  I'm from NEO also.  D..n cold this weekend.  Went to Medina GS.  Nothing special but tons of people.  Biggest show there I can remember and they started charging an extra $.  Freeking inflation!!!!  Good site, enjoy.

Hey Ellis!

Cold is right!  Good to see people at the shows.  Some of them are sparse and they end up doing away with them.  Let me know if you want to get together and punch some holes some time.

Yes Ellis, it is snowing and 10 degrees as I write this. And yes, I do miss North Carolina quite a bit. It's just that work and home are out here now. I don't get back there often enough though. :(

Hello to all I just signed up . I am located in NE PA and have been a fan of MB for a long time. I only recently found this sight and from what I have seen so far it looks to be one of the few good ones out there.

Hi folks,

After watching the episode about the Sig Arms factory, I decided to check out this web site. You see, I've heard many people praise the Sig, but the Sig 232 that I purchased for my wife several years ago has turned out to be nothing but a piece of junk. Failure to feeds are common, I've had two breakdown leavers come loose and the gun isn't particularly accurate. It's the one that tends to be left in the case when we go to the range.

I guess I've been shooting for somewhere between five and perhaps eight years. I prefer handguns that "get the job done" over high dollar fancy pieces. I've settled on the following:

A Glock 30 - this is a wonderful weapon, about as accurate as anything I own (except possibly the CZ) and stone reliable.
CZ-75B - Affordable, accurate, very well made, beautiful and has an action like a knife through butter. Every now and then (rarely) I've had a feed problem though.
Kahr P-9 - Reliable, well made, easy to conceal
Kel-Tec P3AT - tiny - easy to conceal in the Texas summer heat

I guess that my mindset is that if a gun works well, then what else do you need?

Eric,

I had the same problem with a Sig Mosquito (.22).  Sent it back and it is still a jam-o-matic.  It has soured me on Sig.

I have a P3AT too.  Love that little thing for carry here in FL.  I did pick up an extra mag for it.
