What Tim said.   They did a segment with Kim on the Today show.  Not only does she do well on the range, but she more than holds her own in an interview.

That said, neither Tim (I'd guess) nor I are defending or promoting NBC, but they have given Kim coverage.   It's news, she's cute and handles herself well on camera.   Otherwise, yes I believe they MSM would try to ignore positive news about firearms, especially since they're trying to whip up support for gun control at this time.

I'd agree ^^^^^^

I liked her analogy for skeet and trap shooters.  You don't think about putting one foot in front of the other when you're walking and that's what skeet and trap shooters try and achieve.  Actions without thought!

That is the handball I was expecting.  This game they are playing is a mix between basketball and soccer  ???

Handball is a blast.  I played it in college for a while.  When I retired from rugby, I wanted to start playing again, but there just aren't any teams around.  That explains why the US is so horrible at it.

But the MSM, buries it on the back up channel, MSNBC, at the 2:00 a.m. coverage to say they "covered" it....

To be fair, they also buried my sport of choice, weightlifting.  While it's hugely popular around the world, the US is rarely a medal contender due to their strict drug testing.  There's only one man and two women from the US who qualified for this year's Olympics.  While the US regularly tests their weightlifters during the off season, other countries turn a blind eye to it, leaving the American team at a serious disadvantage.

The US lost their only real shot at a weighlifting medal when Pat Mendes got busted 3 months ago and handed a 2 year ban.
Bravery and stupidity are often synonymous.  So are cowardice and intelligence.

"We Americans have been a rebellious band of freedom loving vagabonds from the very beginning. Our freedom from the crown and tyranny would not exist had it not been for the gun. That's a tradition we like to hold on to.  The same can't be said for the rest of you 'Subjects of the Queen'."--said to a Canadian friend who just doesn't get it.

NBC screwed me again  >:(

Last night I went to the NBC website, entered my zip code and provider, and they gave me the listings of what they are showing on all their stations.

I took an early lunch today so I could watch shooting.  Guess what?  More F'n equestrian!!!  I checked every station to see if they moved it, but no.

Archery in three hours supposedly.  Don't know if I'll be able to watch, but you can bet that I'll check just to raise my blood pressure.

It was listed here at 12:45 to 1:15 on NBC Sports Network that I don't get.  I don't know if they actually had it televised at the time or not.  They shoot in any weather as far as I know.  Seems very little coverage for what they have scheduled.

That's what they had listed for here (11:45 - 12:15 central).   Very little is even worse when it turns to none!

I just take it for granted I'm at the mercy of the broadcaster on this.   If they're showing something I want to watch, when I have time for it, great.   I don't get my heart set on being able to watch any particular sport.

Otherwise, I have 50 episodes of The Mentalist, 10 of Alphas, 5 of Warehouse 13 and a dozen Jeapordy's recorded.  (No gun shows cause I've already watched all of them.)

Anti gun dipstick Piers Morgan of CNN, interviewed Kim and didn't even mention her gold medal once,....just berated her about the Aurora theater shooting, and gun control...
