Obama Administration Repositioning Homeland Security Ammunition Containers

Posted by Jim Hoft on Monday, January 28, 2013, 12:07 PM

The containers (like those pictured) are usually painted olive drab and are unmarked except for indistinguishable numbers/letters probably for inventory, routing, etc.

Reader Don sent this in recently:

Jim – I passed a convoy of olive drab unmarked 40 foot tractor trailers each with four 10 yard ammo bunker boxes chained to them and unmarked armored Hum-Vee’s heading north on I-95 in Brevard County, Florida this past Thursday morning. The “govt” is positioning these ammo storage boxes, I have been told, in strategic places in population centers around the country. They are usually painted olive drab and are unmarked except for indistinguishable numbers/letters probably for inventory, routing, etc.

Obma’s Homeland Security Department has purchased 1.4 billion rounds of ammunition – that is not a typo — during the last six months.

ATK is one company that won a contract with the Department of Homeland Security to provide 450 million rounds of .40 caliber ammunition in 2012.

Previously it was reported that people around the US have begun reporting the site of strange, new, heavily-armed FEMA fighting vehicles this past year.

One set of images made available by Rense.com shows trailer after trailer carrying these new DHS and FEMA armored fighting vehicles, complete with machine gun slots. They’re labeled with the usual backward American flag and the title, ‘Homeland Security’. Below that and the DHS logo, it also reads, ‘Immigration & Customs Enforcement’. Joining those markings, the black vehicles with white lettering also display ‘POLICE/RESCUE’ on one side and ‘Special Response Team’ on the other.

Whiteout Press reported on the government ammunition purchases back in October 2012.

As we detailed in the August 28 Whiteout Press article ‘History of DHS Ammunition Purchases’, federal emergency management agencies are looking more and more like a military army every day.

The federal government’s procurement website actually lists DHS’ requests for bids to supply it with ammunition and military weaponry. All of the orders listed in the above article, including the orders for hundreds of millions of rounds of ammunition, are publicly available at http://www.fbo.gov.

One look at a chart of DHS ammunition purchases over the past decade reveals a drastic spike in orders of bullets recently, totaling in the billions of rounds. Other charts available online show a similar drastic spike in the purchases of accompanying weaponry by the Department of Homeland Security.

What is the US federal government preparing for? And why does it feel it needs an army of brainwashed youth, millions of guns, thousands of armored fighting vehicles and literally billions of rounds of ammunition, just to provide relief to the American people during a natul disaster? Any historian will tell you it sounds more like the arming of the Hitler Youth than an army of first responders fighting forest fires and hurricanes.

Look for the Homeland Security ammunition containers coming soon to your community.

The little hairs on my neck, the little voice in my head, the telling tales of the real news for those that pay attention, makes one concerned. Not just weep for a Nation, but prepare to defend it.

My favorite quote resource from mouseguns.com is no longer online either.....That's alright, I have another.

"All the people constitute the militia - according to the Founding Fathers. Therefore every able-bodied man has a duty under the Constitution to become part of the 'well-regulated' militia, specifically to understand and perform well with the individual weapon currently issued to the regular establishment .... Thus one who has not qualified himself with the M-16 may not be considered to be a responsible citizen."
Col. Jeff Cooper.
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

Hi;

By the letters and numerical (7) combination, what we have here is a shipping container that is ready for overseas capable. You will see their 48-53 ft sister containers loaded up onto overseas container ships.  The color is possibly a variation of the "camo" color for Africa.
Since we are now going into Africa and get engaged into another war/conflict, it makes sence to have the troops ready for deployment. A C-130/141/C-7 can handles these with no problems.
These are Platoon size shipping containers, a normal 6000 lb ( long forked )industrial forklift will handle with no problem, the military has "RT"S" that usually do the job in a combat situation.

Heck.... I wish they would drop one off at my place.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Where in Brevard county are these things parked? I've got a good set of bolt cutters if you want to take a field trip. Its not theft of government property, its, um, disarming our future UN overlords, yeah, that's the ticket. We're by God making that ammo safe for democracy! ;D

Yes, it is theft of the Kings arms govt property.
But it would be a righteous act .
Remember, our first Revolution was triggered by the authorities trying to recover arms and ammunition stolen the previous December from Ft William and Mary in Portsmouth harbor NH.
I would consider it an honor to aid in protecting your new stash .
In fact, I know a nice State Park where you could hide some of it.
It even has ammo bunkers .   ;D

Are they 100% positive they are containers of ammunition?  I doubt it.

We used 20 and 40 ft containers to load our deployment gear into to move it from home station to whereever the boat was ported ie North Island to Bremerton.  We also had a couple for permanent storage at the hangar.  My friends Army unit to rotations at National Training Center and deployments to Haiti and other tropical and sandy places with all thier gear in 20 ft containers.  The current "barracks" in Iraq and Afghanistan are/were 40ftrs with a door and a small window.

Another thing to consider is Brevard County is home to Kennedy Space Center and Patrick AFB, along with a Northrop Grumman facility.  There is a lot of Space Shuttle and ballistic missile equiment that is currently being dismantled and transported to various locations for disposal and reuse.  There are a lot of UAV ground stations being built out of containers too.

Weather station in Alaska that started as a 20 ft container

You are either SOLVING the problem, or you ARE the problem.

Fire Finder artillery radars are also contained in 20 Ft containers .
At least the prototypes were back in the 70's .

Last summer when we were at Fort Benning they had thousands of them sitting around. When the units are deployed or return they ship all the gear in them.
A bird in the hand is worth..Well, about a box of shells!

I wish the entire arms and ammunition industry would make an announcement that there will be no further sales to the government and or law enforcement, until they stop with all of this freedom robbing nonsense. If Randy Barrett did it to California, they can as well, to the entire Federal government. They are backlogged enough with civilian sales to hold them over. Colt, FN, Beretta, along with the ammunition manufacturers could bring them to their begging knees. Hussein does what he wants. The rest of the country needs to do the same. This dog and pony show is getting ridiculous with these stupid "hearings". They only hear what they want. Now they're parading Gifford's around like a starving dog with a broken leg, in order to get sympathy for their freedom robbing, communist cause. Where the hell was she 6 months ago?
