Now we're "moving on".  Demographics, despite his wins in the primaries, shows that less than 50% of dems will vote for B-HO in an open primary.  We had the same kind of a thing in Louisiana back in the '80's or '90's when Cleo Fields ran....before I moved to Oklahoma.  Only a specific group turned out to vote for him and in the general election Cleo lost miserably.

My opinion, B-HO can't win the presidential election against a decent hair-lipped dog catcher.  My focus, since I don't believe B-HO can win is what can we do to steer the Republican party back towards the center and I don't think that happens by accepting what we are given.   My fear is that Hillary will pull out the nomination and that the RINO's will not move to center....a lose-lose situation.  And lose is what the RINO's are doing now...in my old U.S. Congressional District outside Baton Rouge, LA a complete idiot took the race over the Repub....why...not oil price...Trent Lott, Lindsay Graham, George Bush and all the other RINO's that have sold us out.  Open borders, fiscal irresponsibilty, less-than-truthfulness on the RINO's part has caused a shift in U.S. politics...except in Democratic strongholds...pretty much only in Repub areas.

The Clinton's are not quite finished yet...they crossed a lot of Dems back when and the left wing media tilts even further left to B-HO, but short of Hillary not showing up to the convention "it ain't over".  For instance, Bill Richardson wanted a promise to be Secretary of the State Department...did not get it with Hillary so where did he go...my point...lots of posturing to go and between now and then many Dems may jump ship back to Hillary if the hopelessness of a B-HO victory in the general election begins to dawn on them and they begin to see their only hopes for big time power are from Hildabeast.

Thus far, there have been no concessions to conservatives in general the 2nd Ammendment in particular, that I have seen.

Let's see McCain give us some kind of real assurances or concessions...something beyond read my lips...something pro-gun without the subterfuge.

Still a lot that can happen between now and November.  We can only hope that B-HO will do his very best to step on his own _____ a few more times.

In midevil times a "Petard" was a type of mine used to blow up castle walls, they tended to go off kind of randomly, So "Hoisted by his own Petard" refers to blowing yourself up, not being hung by your ... ;D

St. Peter is at the Pearly Gates checking up on the people waiting to enter Heaven.
He asks the next one in line, 'So, who are you, and what did you do on Earth?'

The fellow says, 'I'm Barak Obama, and I was the first black to be elected President of the United States '

St. Peter says, 'The U.S.? A black President? You gotta be kidding me! When did this happen?'

And Obama says, 'Oh, about twenty minutes ago.'

What shocks me more than someone really thinking that Barr can change anything much less have a chance at winning?!?

That you and Marshall have grandkids.

My youngest is 28 with a 15 month old and my oldest is 34 with a 6 year old.

Marshal and I have only been married for 4 years.

Exactly! Youthful attributes. Jean-eticly speaking. Thanks for clearing that up Haz. ;D

Has there been an election where so much anxiety has been expended on who the Vice Presidential candidate may be? For either Reps or Dems?  If the "RIGHT" guy emerges, would some of you reconsider McCain? Who would it have to be for you to back Mc, then wait for secession? Fred still listening for a call?
