I was estatic when I heard the news of Biden being the VP pick. There are so many good sound bites of him bashing Obama as being an empty suit, how he is dead wrong on Iraq, and how he would be honored to be McCain's VP.

http://www.downrange.tv/forum/index.php?topic=3110.0I think this is great for the Republicans. Not only has Biden been caught making racist and bigoted statements in the past, but he has been caught saying them about Obama himself - anyone else remember the whole "He's the first mainstream black candidate who is clean and articulate... Its a storybook."?
As mentioned earlier, the "Change" slogan can be thrown out the window. Biden is a career politician who has literally been in the senate longer then I have been alive (I'm 29). Obama is proving that he is a lock-step democrat who is only saying what he needs to say to get elected.
In addition, Biden brings nothing to the ticket. He will not help him win any new votes, and will certainly not help him win any swing states. He is a loose cannon, and there is a very high likelyhood that he will slip up and say atleast one stupid thing b/t now and election time that the campaign will have to clean up. I think this was a very bad move for Obama. One that shows his lack of judgement and inexperience.
