That would get'em going. Many say he would have been a good choice. I don't know, though. Anyway, he's too smart to get involved in this mess.

The only real problem I see with Colin Powell, other than last I heard he was a democrat, is that he wants to pull out of Iraq.

I think Condi or Powell would throw NObama a curve he wouldn't recover from.

As for pulling out of Iraq, I am to , in about 50 years or so (that's about how long we've been in Germany in significant numbers)

Saw McCain on Leno last night and he was talking about VP's.
Can't remember which ones, but he mentioned several occasions in the past where Presidential nominees went across party lines for the VP choice.
I'll have to check further.

I don't know about that, but originally the candidate who came in second got the VP job.Can you imagine McCain as Pres. and Obama as vice ?

The biggest problem with McCain choosing a dem (or even Lieberman, for that matter) is that it leaves the party without a legacy in 8 years.

And the choice of Lieberman would simply serve to hand the keys to the White House to Barry, I fear.
