I had a Bean Dog. You may be asking yourself, what the @#$% is a bean dog? Up until an hour ago it was nothing but an idea. Then I nuked a can of refried beans, and put some on a hot dog with cheese and real Mexican salsa, nuked it 45 seconds and ate it. Then I had another one. If you like chili dogs, you might like "beaners" too. I bought 5 packages of Ball Park Beef Franks on sale the other day. I don't buy hot dogs very often but thought, they're all beef, how bad can they be? They're salty AF! That's how bad they can be! In case you think I'm too sensitive to the taste of salt, each 1.875 ounce dog has 20% of the Daily Value of sodium. Five of them with no bread or condiments contain all the salt you should eat for an entire day. The beans and salsa cut down on the salty taste and made them edible. Kind of good, actually. I'll be having more later.

If you're on a salt-restricted diet for high blood pressure or some other reason, hot dogs might be enough to kill you. I know a woman who has hyponatremia, low sodium. You can get it from drinking way too much beer, or toxic amounts of water. Symptoms can be absent, mild or severe. Mild symptoms include a decreased ability to think, headaches, nausea, and poor balance. Severe symptoms include confusion, seizures, and coma; death can ensue. So, all of her mental and physical problems aren't from being bipolar, drinking beer, and smoking pot. Not all of them. She's a nice person when she's normal, but dumb as a stump about nearly everything. She's the only person I know whose doctors keep telling her, eat more salt, you're not getting enough salt in your diet. I'm glad that's not me, because there are just so many chips and salty snacks I can eat in a day.

I had about 25 shrimp with cocktail sauce, and coffee ice cream for dessert. Coffee ice cream is so good, I think you can enjoy it even if you don't like coffee.

Got some Aldi's breaded chicken patties in the air fryer (air fryer's my new best friend).....going to have knock-off Chick-Fil-A sandwiches with letuce, mater and pepper jack cheese.

Might have a wee slice of 12 layer chocolate cake later....but I don't know....trying to cut back.

My toaster oven is an air fryer too, but I usually bake everything on a piece of aluminum foil, so I don't have to clean the air fryer basket and the pan it sets in. Pizzas go directly on the rack and I'll probably bake one tonight.

I had 3/4 of a Calabrese Salami & Marinated Peppers Pizza. Made with calabrese salami, arugula pesto, marinated red peppers and Grana Padano cheese. I love those little peppers. They're red bell peppers that aren't much bigger than a pea, and have a nice, sweet flavor. I'd really like to try some Peppadew Sweet Piquanté Peppers, but these will do for now. Peppadews are 9 bucks for 14 ounces, which is less than I've spent on other things I wanted to try.

Pecan pie. There were 3 of them on the reduced price rack at Kroger for $5.01 apiece instead of $10.99. I would have no problem scarfing down all 3 of them, but only bought one.

Last night we cooked hamburger steak with brown gravy & onions...sides were mashed taters and field peas with rolls and sweet tea.....a variety of cookies for sweet treats. (served around 85 plates)

I saved some for lunch today.

I had Baked Three Cheese Potato Casserole with 1 1/2 hotdogs cut up in it, after most of the grease was cooked, out for breakfast. I was a little bit hungry again so I had a bowl of ramen. I think that was the same kind of potatoes I had about a week ago and covered with Kraft singles, because more cheese is always better. Well, not always. I couldn't even taste the potatoes.

Yesterday I used my last 3 hot dog buns at breakfast. I filled them with leftover spicy jalapeno refried beans and a hotdog, and topped each one with 2/3 of a slice of Kraft American singles and nuked them. No salsa and they were still good. I still had 3 hotdogs, so I cooked them and sliced them up. I put half in some mac and cheese yesterday and saved the other half for today. Mac and cheese is a good way to get rid of a couple hotdogs when you run out of buns. I put the the other 3 packs of hotdogs in the freezer.
