I had a bunch of Honeybaked ham for lunch. No sides or bread, just mustard. Then mini cupcakes and Christmas cookies for dessert. I need to see if I have any Horsey Sauce packets in the fridge for my dinner ham. I don't think I have anything like that.
I had some Mucky Duck mustard years and years ago and really liked it, but haven't had it again until yesterday. I bought a jar of it earlier this year and took it to the Christmas party. This is the OG PUB-STYLE MUSTARD, made in Michigan since 1983, and I was disappointed when I tried it again. The only ingredients are Apple Cider Vinegar, Cane Sugar, Eggs, Mustard Flour, and Modified Corn Starch. Don't ask me why mustard has eggs in it, I couldn't tell you. But it's way too sweet and doesn't have nearly enough mustard flour in it. After I came home I mixed the rest of the jar with the rest of a bottle of hot & spicy mustard that's a lot tangier. Now it tastes better, but I still like mustard that tastes like mustard, not sugar or vinegar. That's why I never buy yellow mustard. It doesn't have any mustard flavor, just vinegar, and I don't see what the point is. I may try some other Mucky Duck mustard or their other products, but I'm done with this. They say it's really good on pretzels, but I don't have any to try it with.
https://morethanmustard.com/ Breakfast was a mini loaf of banana bread or zucchini bread, I'm not sure which it was, but it was good. Instead of cutting small slices off side to side, I made 4 slices lengthwise. I put lots of real butter on 2 slices, microwaved and ate them, then repeated. Mmm.
