I have the word quote with the button to the left of it and that's it. I run CCleaner daily to get rid of all cookies, internet cache, internet history, download history, and a whole list of other things. I don't have a Book to the Face account and yesterday I was wondering if that had anything to do with it. Do they own the rights to Like buttons or something? If not, one of my browser settings or browser extensions is blocking it along with all the other stuff.

Right now I'm blocking googleads.g.doubleclick.net, static.doubleclick.net, www.google-analytics.com, and blocking youtube from setting cookies. Google Analytics and Doubleclick can sell someone else's information to the highest bidder, and everyone else on down to the lowest bidder. They don't need any more of my information than what I already give them. I don't know who i.ytimg.com is but Privacy Badger says they don't appear to be tracking me on this page. But they're here, along with www.youtube.com. And I'm blocking 17 ads on this page so that might be why there's no like button.

Adblock Plus was blocking the like button. As long as I'm willing to put up with the ads the button is there. Problem solved. I could have sworn I tried that months ago and it didn't work.

Thanks for figuring that out, Frank. I haven't had a "Like" button since the get-go either. I figured it might be one of my extensions blocking it, but just haven't bothered to delve into it yet.
I may or may not fix it.  ;D

EDIT: I whitelisted the forum to see and viola: Sir Leg of Peg has a "Likey" button.

If it's up to date, you have all the boxes checked, and you don't have the site whitelisted, either there's something wrong with your Adblock Plus, or it's okay but there's been something wrong with several updated versions of it on a half dozen different browsers on a few computers of mine.

I agree. I put in a new water heater and water softener, and that did me in. I was sore as hell the next day. I pulled something in my arm tightening the shut off valve for the water heater. Tomorrow I have to change oil and filters in all 3 vehicles. That is the equivalent of running a marathon. I want to get all this $h!t done, because a week from Sunday I'm going Trap shooting on the weekends from here on in, until Summer heats up again. I've done enough projects, and gotten enough exercise to last me through the entire Winter. If something breaks, I'm hiring it out!

I finished my oil change project on all 3 vehicles yesterday. And today I'm paying the price. My back is killing me from crawling under 3 cars. But everything is finished...... Finally! I installed one of those nice quick drain plugs in my Toyota, and it's really nice. No more wrenches, or getting hot oil all over my hands. This is a really nice, well made, quality item.
