I don't want to sound like a crazy, to you guys I probably don't, but I feel that this is the most corrupt government ever.  And he's only been in office for a couple weeks, this stimulus package is insane, spending a trillion dollars is going to fix this economy?  Its never worked and it won't work now.  Hell, if you did nothing our economy would pull itself out of a recession.  Did you hear this man's rant last night, the true Obama is an angry, power hungry, charlatan.  I don't listen to the alternate news radios nor do I subscribe to any commentator's opinions, I look at whats happening and form my own opinions.

He will try to strip the state's of their power and independence to put every decision in his hands.  He's screaming at our elected representatives for listening to their people, the people that elected them.

Personally I would support, and again I'm not a conspiracy theorist or anything like that, a civilian militia based out of their home states, to protect themselves if they ever did need to enforce their sovereignty.  I would set it up like the militia acts of the 1700's and separate those organizations for any federal, state, or local governments so they could not be corrupted.

BUT I DON'T WANT TO TURN THIS FORUM INTO THAT TYPE OF TALK, I'm just expressing my view.

You paranoid wacko's are missing something, I was arguing with Runstowin during the campaign about his 2 parties one purpose comments, But I was partly wrong, if there actually were 2 parties I would have been completely wrong but we have only Dum and DumR. Once they get elected they think they have become some kind of elite, better than the little people. They are right to, we must be stupid, we voted for "them" didn't we?
Who are we pee ons to question the great ones , they are the "Lords of the Manor and we are the sheep to be fleeced.  :(

NH said something about ignoring Executive Orders that had no constitutional backing.  I wonder....would this, if passed in NH, include the Executive Order signed by Ronald Reagan that froze the number of MG's in public hands?  I wonder if that had a constitutional basis by their definition on this in-progress document in NH.

I found out about the North Carolina Citizens Militia at the local gunshow and from looking at the website, it looks pretty solid.

Only answer I've gotten so far is "Probably".
From reading their Forum I'm not impressed, this "free state project" seems to be composed of dopers and uber liberals who have no concept of the Constitution.  Bunch of meatheads looking for anarchy. More a part of the problem than part of the cure. The only good thing I will say about them is they ARE pro 2A.

Here is the full and growing list of states who are declaring sovereignty. Washington, New Hampshire, Arizona, Montana, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, California, and Georgia have all introduced bills and resolutions declaring sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment. Colorado, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Alaska, Kansas, Alabama, Nevada, Maine, and Illinois are considering such measures.

So here's another youngen question.  Has there been ever been such a push for state sovereignty in the past, say, fifty years?
