To me gun control means using both hands!

“I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.”

Thanks Fuzdaddy!

You guys give me the final qualification I needed to be President ... I'm already a babbling idiot, and now I have surrounded myself with very smart people.  The only draw back is that you have common sense and a personality ... and one with hairballs  ;D

Tom Gresham was talking about it on his podcast and mentioned that the speed with which he transitioned from jammed pistol to knife illustrates the fact that it's not the tool thats to blame it's the flake using it.

I think its ironic that he was using one of those "Evil semi automatic" pistols..... yet if it had been a revolver he probably would not have jammed after 2 rds

That was the last one. Now we've got the smart guy surrounding himself with people with no common sense. As Ive said before, damnd either way. I still like the idea of Haz hawking up a hairball in the west wing though. ;D

I have read the Associated Press article Haz posted, heard this on TV and Radio, but have not heard what the rifle was.  Has anyone heard?  They keep saying "automatic," but I don't know whether the Associated Press has this correct or not.

m58,

Same here.  That is why I posted that snippet and a link.  Full auto??  In one story it said he 'sprayed 30 rounds' at the LEO.  So who knows at this point.
