Currently eastern ND, started in western ND. Before that, my family was from Ashtabula, OH (Dad) and Jackson, OH (Mom). I grew up and lived in Norther Illinois until some years ago when I moved here.

My Mom's ancestors moved to what is now Ohio after one of them waxed eloquent about the beauty of the Western Reserve when he was there during a little Indian trouble (Lord Dunsmore's War, Battle of Point Pleasant and the subsequent treaty with Chief Cornstalk).

My Dad's great-grandfather settled west of Erie PA after serving as an itinerant preacher in the 1840s in that area.

I have no documentation on the tactical pants that they wore.   >:(

I've done some hunting down around the Jackson, Ohio area.  Oak Hill, Ohio to be exact.  Beautiful country down in the southern hills.

Born and raised outside Grand Rapids, MI.  I’ve had the pleasure of living all over the country and managed over my 51 years to visit or work in 44 of the 48 contiguous United States.  I traveled in the military and doing contract work in the commercial nuclear industry so I’ve seen a lot of this great land and a little bit of a few others.

75-76, Florida
76-77, Keflavik, Iceland
77-79, N. California
79-82, Michigan
82-89, Connecticut
89-91, Michigan
91-96, Connecticut (and about 8 months in Illinois on contract)
96-present, The Peoples Republic of Massachusetts.

Favorite place would probably be Michigan but for wilderness beauty, Northern CA and Iceland.  The least favorite is definitely MA and FL though the Keys are a great place to do what I love most which is fishing.  Just can’t stand the oppressive heat of the southern states.  I’m an English, Irish, Norwegian mutt so tanning is not an option.  I could probably get in my car, travel this great land and never have to pay for a bed to sleep in.  I have buddies all over the country that would let me crash anywhere….

Hey CORONER, I'm from NE Ohio - Ravenna (just East of Kent).  Do you ever get to the Maumee GS?  Too far for me but I know my GS sets up there...he does good work but a little slow.

Richard

Yep!  Went to the Maumee GS about 3 weeks ago.  The show I went to was at the Fairgrounds.  It was a big show.  Lots of vendors and guns.

Norwalk, Ohio is having their first show at the Huron Co. Fairgrounds, 940 Fair Rd. Norwalk, Ohio.   March 28-29.  9am to 5pm sat.  9am to 3pm sun.  $4.00 adults, 12 & under free.  For more info: 440-986-5004 or 440-320-4660.  Food and Beverages available.  No CCW inside building.  This is a Bill-Mar Promotion show.  Same as Lorain Co. Gun show.

I've yet to make it to a Medina Gun Show.  They seem to always have them when I have other plans?  I'll get there one of these days.
Thanks for stopping in to say hi, and it's nice to meetcha.

Eric

I grew up in Boise, Idaho where you can own just about anything short of a nuke.
I now live in Seattle where they are a little more iiotic about guns, you can own a sound supressor for your guns, have it on but you can't shoot your gun with it on. ::)
I have lived in the North West for about 10 years with a stint in NY and CA. Both very unfriendly to the 2nd Ammendment.

Born in SanDiego,Ca. lived there for six months until dad got out of the Navy. Been in Greeley,Colorado since.
Greeley is 50 miles north of Denver and 50 miles south of Cheyenne,Wy. "The Front Range"

Ancestors, mother and father's families came from a German community living in Russia "Rooshians is what we are.. grandpa would say". Came to the states in the 1880's and settled in Kansas until 1923 and moved to the Greeley/Windsor area where they farmed.

I'm as Kraut as you can get ;)

Also, no documentation of any "tactical ladahosen" ;D

Born and raised in northwest Iowa, and currently live 35 miles from my hometown (and about 60 miles from m58).  Mother was of swedish extraction whose parents came to this country in the waning years of the 19th century.  Father was the guy who delivered our milk of german descent, whose parents also came here in the late 19th century.  Our roots are buried SO deep in this area that, as children, both of my parents (at different times) lived in the same house, and then my parents lived there, and raised their 3 children there, as adults.

Mom was 4'11" tall, dad was 5'10" tall, and I'm 6'4".  Upon meeting one of my mother's friends for the first time, the lady asked mom how a woman her size could have a son my size, to which my mother replied (without missing a beat), "he wasn't that size when i had him".  Mom's other classic line was at my grandmother's wake.  My mom was seated beside my VERY pregnant sister-in-law, when she motioned toward her very prominent tummy and said to her, "You do realize, don't you, that that thing isn't gonna feel NEARLY as good coming out as it did going in?"
I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!

Just wondering where ya all call home.  Your State that is.  Tell us why you like where you live, and why you don't.  Some folks don't have it mentioned on there profile.  Just curious.  You don't have to tell us if it's invading you're privacy.

I'll start...

I'm from Northern Ohio, about 40 minutes south of Lake Erie.  Just about due south of Sandusky, Ohio.  I love summer in Ohio except for the humidity.  I enjoy riding my motorcycle north, south, east, and west.  There's always an interesting destination to roll to.  Winters are well, unpleasant.  Arctic winds pound the north coast here, and while I'm not directly in the snow belt, we get enough!  Winters seem to be getting more painful for me as every year passes.  Since our kids are grown and gone from the nest; we are considering a warmer climate to relocate to.  Gun friendly climate ofcourse!

Pal, you ain't seen 'humidity' 'til you spend a little time down in my neck-o-the-woods.  ;D

Deep south Georgia....where the snakes are crawlin' and the skeeters cast a shadow when the fly over.

I was actually born in Nevada while my dad was in the Air Force. We moved back home when I was just a few months old.
Other than a three-year stint in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina when I was 6, I've lived here on the family property all my life.
I love it here. Good fishing and excellent hunting. I've photographed deer and turkey from my back door and the doves are everywhere.

I refuse to answer the question in case President B.O. and the rest of the demoRats are reading our posts and decides to take away our Second Amendment and confiscate our ammo, rifles and pistols.

All I've got to say is " REMEMBER THE ALAMO..." ;D ;D ;D
