I live in rural Clay County, Missouri. Near Kearney, the home town of Jesse and Frank James.
We live on the family farm. My kids are the 6th generation of my family to live in our house.
While I make my living helping to run a charter school, we still farm the land.
This is a very cool thing! I have all the hunting and fishing I want out my back door.
AND, not to brag, but I have my own private shooting range.

I reside in Ashland, Kentucky.  Home of Brandon Webb, Chuck Woolery, The Judds , Billy Ray Cyrus... (o.k. stop laughing at least we have Ashley Judd!   :o)  I have lived here the vast majority of my life and wouldn't have it any other way.  I have traveled extensively and I'm always happy to return home.  The majority of people here are very relaxed and friendly (people actually wave and speak to each other, which is probably foreign to some of you yanks) which makes the town seem smaller than what it is.  Hills, lakes, and trees are plentiful, making this area a hunter/fisherman's dream, yet I am within an hour or two of several metropolitan locals.  We aren't blessed with a lack of income tax, but politically, we are definitely a red state and we have very loose gun laws.  To paraphrase... thank God I'm a Kentucky boy!

I live in Arvada CO, which is approximately half way between where Shooter32 and that gun happy Michael Bane lives. Just a stones throw from the foothills of the Rockies.
