Many Contra Costa crooks won't be prosecuted-CA

(04-21) 16:41 PDT MARTINEZ -- Misdemeanors such as assaults, thefts and burglaries will no longer be prosecuted in Contra Costa County because of budget cuts, the county's top prosecutor said Tuesday.

Oh good grief....why not just put up a big flashing neon sign saying 'Crooks Welcome' ?

It would be nice if that door would swing both ways:  As in, if I catch you stealing and assault you into unconsciousness you cannot file suit.

They are not far from me, they are beyond broke,  in the hole this year fro something like 2 years wroth of taxs.
