Ms. Carney-Nunes Was responsible for coming to the school and teaching the kids this song.....

Carney-Nunes is senior vice president of The Jamestown Project, “the award-winning author of the children’s books, I Am Barack Obama (2009),” and according to her biography, “a graduate of Harvard Law School, where she was a schoolmate of President Obama.”

The Obama school song video that she taped shows her book featured on an easel next to the children hailing Dear Leader. She promotes her book as a tool that “allows children to see themselves through the inspirational story of President Obama growing up as an ordinary child asking, Who will change the world? Ultimately, he realizes that he will.”

She has spread this creepy cult message to schoolchildren across the country.

Here is the schools response:

Dear Burlington Township Families:

Today we became aware of a video that was placed on the internet which has been reported in the media. The video is of a class of students singing a song about President Obama. The activity took place during Black History Month in 2009, which is recognized each February to honor the contributions of African Americans to our country. Our curriculum studies, honors and recognizes those who serve our country. The recording and distribution of the class activity were unauthorized.

If you have any further questions regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to contact me or Dr. King, Principal of B. Bernice Young School, directly.

I never heard songs for any other POTUS, not Clinton, Reagan, Eisenhower, even Kennedy,...

This indoctrination is right up there with Chavez, Kim-Jong-Il (the beloved Emperor), Hitler and the Youth Programs....

It's off the page how far left this BS is. I would be pulling my kid out of that school, and would have to really restrain myself not punching a Faculty member who gave this the OK out cold... >:(

This is BS, and even FQ knows it.

I have to say that is disturbing but I can see some of the "draw."  My oldest has started thinking for herself (at 15, so there IS hope for the future) and regularly picks up on the BS and asks WTF?

The youngest (6) is somewhat obsessed with Obummer but for a very basic and understandable (for a 6 y/o) reason.  When the elections were going on the school sent home a Newsweek for Kids (or something like it I forget) and it had a list of McCain and Obummer's hobbies and favorite sports/foods/etc.  Her decision was based on that; Obummer liked a lot of the same things she did (pizza, basketball...) "If he likes what I like than he must be OK."  Not issue based but logical for her age.

I think FQ is  right to some extent.  A lot of kids are either going to "drink the kool-aid" or "Not a chance in hell."  It's the middle ground kids that will make the difference.

Just want to give you props for being a good dad (something in too short a supply these days). You are encouraging your girls to think for themselves, even if you don't agree. I particularly admire how you describe your youngest who likes BO because he likes pizza and hoops. You didn't step on her, just let a kid be a kid. I'm not a parent, but I had a great dad, and I am grateful for that every day (more grateful as I get older, but its funny how that seems to happen). It sounds like you are doing a great job and my hat is off to you. I forget the Arabic word, but it reminds me of a West Wing episode where President Batrlett is offered a cup of tea by a bedouin chief for being (insert Arabic word I don't remember) "a father of dauaghters". I wish you well. It sounds like you are off to a good start.

So let me get this straight..."The recording and distribution of the class activity were unauthorized."

That’s all you have to say?  The ONLY problem you, Mr. or Ms. Burlington Township Official, have with this is the distribution was unauthorized?  You really don't have any problem if someone came in and did the same thing for Ronald Reagan?  OF COURSE YOU WOULD!

IF IT WOULD BE WRONG OR OFFENSIVE FOR A REAGAN SONG THEN IT IS WRONG FOR OBAMA MAXIMUS, TOO!!!!!!

Beck brought up a couple of good points:

Some schools have issues with Christmas, as to not offend anyone, it's not even called Christmas Break anymore in a lot of schools.

Hmmmm.....

Ask a Democrat/Liberal if they would have wanted their children to sing a song (The Battle Hymn Of The Republic) BTW, about George W. Bush.

How the State Run Media would demand impeachment.

Hmmmm...

these are good too.

Let's see, multiple MSM magazine covers showing bho is beatific poses - halos  (!!!!!) and all, anyone who dares raise a word against the anointed one is a racist. So this is just more of the statist religion coming home to roost, and anyone who speaks against it is an apostate - or worse. Get used to it, and after you have drunk the bho kool-aid, you can get on your knees and plead for mercy and forgiveness, just like you would with God, only this time it's for your own good. </sarcasm off>

As for me and mine, we'll stick with the Lord - the real one. This one can be abandoned to the devil - or the Lord's justice. Ain't my call which.
