I saw that too, but multiple outlets are now reporting that there was nothing there and he is less a person of interest now.
When seconds mean the difference between life and death, the police will be minutes away.

They're saying this was a "Pressure Cooker Bomb". This is the first I've heard of this. They said it is similar to the car bombs manufactured in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Does anyone have the skinny on this?

They have 2 possible suspects...well, three, but two of them appear to be working as a team.

Two are an elderly retired couple who are believed to be radical Tea Party supports.  The man was carrying what has been described as a deadly looking cane.

The other suspect was a 30-35 year old white Caucasian male, seen cheering suspiciously for one of the runners at the finish line.  He was wearing clothing associated with militant gangs, an NRA ball cap and a Gadsden Flag T-Shirt.

Do not approach or attempt to detain these suspects if seen, they are considered armed and dangerous.

Ksail, they (the MSM) forget Occupy, ELF, and the other far left folks,....(Bill Ayers comes to mind),...

And the new Professor at Columbia University, recently released from prison....

In 1981, when she was 38 years old, Boudin, along with several members of the Weather Underground and Black Liberation Army, participated in an armed robbery of a Brinks armored car, taking $1.6 million in cash. When police caught up to the getaway car (a U-Haul), Boudin, according to police testimony, reportedly exited the getaway truck, feigned innocence and, when the officers dropped their weapons, six of the men in the back of the getaway truck appeared with automatic weapons, overwhelming the four police officers. Two officers were shot to death on the scene, bringing the death toll to three. Boudin served 22 years in prison and was paroled in 2003.

I just saw something on the news about it . They said the test was notoriously inaccurate and the package had been sent for further, more reliable, testing .
They also said the package was intercepted well before it ever got to the Capital or his office.

How the hell do you kill 2 cops in a multi million dollar armed robbery and get off with only 22 years? In most states that's a "Class X Felony" that carries either the death penalty or life without the possibility of parole.
