Getting ready to fire up some pulled pork from my favorite BBQ for lunch for us. Have to use a different sauce, though, Her Peevishness has developed a sensitivity to something in the pit's. Thinking KC Masterpiece or Kinder's Carolina-style since she likes the mustard stuff.

I'm slurping down a bowl of beef ramen soup, with mesquite BBQ beef jerky, and French's crispy fried onions. I just might finish the big bag of onions before they go bad. I'm drinking a Dr Pepper & Cream Soda zero sugar. It's good for a change, but would probably be better with some bourbon mixed in.

Chee-Zee-Beens. :P  I heated my last can of jalapeno refried beans in the microwave until hot, stirred, pushed 3 Kraft singles down into the beans, and reheated. I stirred them well, and emptied a bottle of Herdez Salsa Casera medium on top. I didn't mix the salsa in, I just spooned it up with the beans. If I had any chips to scoop it up with, I would have stirred the salsa into the beans. I don't know what is is about cheese and refried beans, but I really like them. HERDEZ Salsa is the No. 1 salsa brand in Mexico, and their homemade style is really good. Who would have guessed that Mexicans made good salsa? ;)

Dessert was a glass of Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream with Evan Williams bourbon. Now I'm having a glass Dr Pepper & Cream Soda with bourbon. In 1783, Evan Williams opened Kentucky’s First Distillery on the banks of the Ohio River. Many years and barrels later, they still produce Bourbon the right way, using the same time-honored methods. E.W. is 4 years older than Buffalo Trace Distillery, which holds the title of being the oldest continuously operating distillery in America. They were allowed to make medicinal whiskey during prohibition, but it wasn't Buffalo Trace until 1999, 216 years after Evan Williams was founded, making Evan Williams 9.3 times older. I think it's the oldest distillery of any kind in the whole country.

National Moonshine Day is on June 5 this year. Here's some moonshine trivia. 1. The X's on the moonshine jugs symbol represents the number of times a batch was run through the still. If marked XXX, the moonshine is pure alcohol. 2. During prohibition, there were many ways to transport bootlegged moonshine. Faking a funeral was a convenient ruse to move the product. Out of respect for the dead, of course, those with the badge were reluctant to stop a funeral procession.

I just pulled a Calabrese salami and marinated pepper pizza out of the toaster oven. I chopped up a bag of Applewood Smoke Flavor Bacon Jerky and put it on the pizza before I baked it. It smelled good and should taste great. It's my last pizza. I'm running out of things to eat and will probably go to the store tomorrow.

Two hot beef Polish sausage on pretzel rolls. And 2 Barq's Frozen Root Beer and Vanilla Ice Cream Floats, because some things are too good to only eat one of. Sauerkraut is good with Polish sausage, but I don't have any. I do have mild kimchi, and was going to put some on my Polish sausage, but they're so fat there wasn't room on the buns. I still have a few packages of hotdogs left from when I bought 5 of them, so maybe I'll try kimchi with them.

Two hot polish sausage on pretzel rolls, and this time I put mild kimchi on the buns before I put the sausage on. That way it didn't fall off. Most of the time that I eat hotdogs with diced onions, I put the onions in the hotdog bun and the hotdog on top. Otherwise half of the onions fall off. So I did it the same way with this. Now I'm having 2 Blue Bunny mini swirl cones.
