Pizza.
The best thing I've had in a long time was a month ago when I had Italian beef subs. I bought a 4 pound tub of Papa Charlie’s Chicago famous seasoned au jus and Italian Beef. And I grabbed a half-dozen sub rolls and headed straight to the condiment aisle. There, I got a jar of Ditka's Hall of Fame Recipe Chicago style hot giardiniera. Over 3 days I ate 6 of the best darned sandwiches I've had in a very long time. It didn't take me long to figure out it works a lot better to cut them in half before you dip them, instead of dipping the uncut end of the the roll. I tried one wet, but it was too hard to pick up with the juice on it, so I fixed the rest of them dry and dipped them. The au jus tasted so good I drank the leftover juice from the bowl, which usually had some hot bits in it.
My antique of a fridge finally bit the dust. It was already a relic when I moved in 30 years ago. My new fridge should be here Wednesday. After that I can buy something good like the Italian beef again, instead of eating snacks and whatever is in the freezer.
