SKITTLES POP’D freeze dried candies. Crunch the Rainbow, Taste the Rainbow! I like these a lot better than regular Skittles. I almost made serious typo there, I started typing Sh instead of Sk for Skittles. ;D Oops! There aren't any brown Skittles in the rainbow.

Breakfast was 2 bowls of Vietnamese style pho soup. The first bowl full smelled like fennel and I wasn't sure why. It turns out, star anise is one of the main spices, and so is fennel seed. The other main spices are in the picture. I wanted to add black pepper to the second bowl, but added peppered beef jerky instead. It was the last ~1/4 of a bag that I already shredded and had enough pepper left in the bag. But I also added a couple dashes of Peri-Peri hot sauce. That was really good.

I just ate 2 Korean-Style Sweet Chili Noodle Bowls. The gochujang chili sauce made it medium-hot which is the way I like spicy foods. Each bowl is 500 calories, but I waited until I was hungry to eat, and 1,000 calories will last me a while. I had 2 Korean-Style Sweet Chili Noodle Bowls last night, and 2 Thai-Style Peanut Sesame Noodle Bowls for lunch yesterday. I think. I can't remember when I ate what, but I have a few flavors of noodle bowls and things left for the rest of weekend. I'm drinking the last of my Skimmers Vodka Iced Tea and Lemonade Variety Pack. I drank 1 of each yesterday and had the other half today. Not too bad to try something different for a change, but I don't plan on buying many more.

Slow-cooked roast....cooked with golden taters and baby carrots (seasoned with Lane's SPG) and mac & cheese.
Some goooood eatin'.

We have a neighbor recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and we cooked the same thing and took it to them yesterday.....should make several meals for the couple.

I took a break from shoyu ramen soup and pad thai to eat a another gyro kit yesterday. I still didn't buy a fresh onion but put French's fried onions on all 4 of them. Not bad.

I just had another big hash brown patty, about 3/4 pound, and an inch smaller than a plate. When I flipped it over I put 3 Kraft American singles on top and let them melt in. I added all my fast food black pepper packets plus some more black pepper to a pound of sausage gravy and got it good and hot. I smothered the taters and cheese with it, and it was good, but would have been even better with 2 or 3 fried eggs in the middle. I put the other 2 pounds of gravy in the fridge to thaw. Maybe I'll buy a dozen eggs before I make another hash brown. The shredded hash brown stick together pretty well, and I added more oil a few times and shook the pan to make sure it wasn't stuck. I fried it in peanut oli just like I did the first time.

Doppio Pepperoni Pizza. Doppio means Double in Italian and usually refers to Doppio Espresso, a double shot which is extracted using double the amount of ground coffee in a larger-sized portafilter basket. So, if like me, you thought this was just a double pepperoni pizza, then you are also wrong. It has pepperoni and Calabrese salami, which is even better. It's a thin crust pizza with Italian Grana Padano cheese, mozzarella, tomato sauce, Grana Padano olive oil sauce, and red pepper (paprika) flakes. All in all, it makes for one salty, greasy, delicious pie. I don't normally like anything greasy or oily, but in this case, the olive oil works. This is one of the artisan stone fired Private Selection pizzas from the Kroger family of stores. And I'm drinking premixed 1800 The Ultimate Margarita, Peach, tonight.

A whole bunch of hush puppies. I was dipping them in jalapeno ketchup mixed with regular ketchup. When my bowl was empty, instead of getting more ketchup I grabbed a bottle of buttermilk ranch dressing. It goes with almost anything. I would have used cocktail sauce if it wasn't frozen solid. I had meat loaf a couple days ago and it was good except for being extremely salty. The gravy would have been good on potatoes or rice that were cooked without any salt.

I had another big hash brown patty, about 3/4 of a pound. This time I put French's fried onions on it before I covered it with cheese. And I stirred about a dozen slices of hot jalapeno peppers into the pound of sausage gravy before I smothered the taters with it. Man, that was good. I thought it would be too many jalapenos but it was just right.

Breakfast was 2 sausage, egg, and cheese English muffins, with an extra slice of cheese on each one. I used an extra half slice on them before but used a whole Kraft single on each one this time. The slices of cheese on them are small, and if I fold a Kraft single and tear it into quarters, I can make 2 slices about the same size as the small slice of cheddar. Just like in the picture I made. I fold the slice twice, and when I unfold it, I tear it into quarters and stick 2 together.

Chicken gizzards for lunch and a peanut butter sandwich for supper.
Maybe a slice of pound cake in between and an odd Oreo or three.

OK but for the gizzards......

Fried gizzards and hot sauce are a delicacy where I come from. ;)  I'm eating DiGiorno pizza. This is the last of 5 of them I baked in the toaster oven, and the 5th one that's ovedone. I turned the heat down 30 degrees and took it out 5 minutes early, and it's still way too brown on the bottom. I bought 5 PS pizzas from Kroger the same day and have one left. By the 2nd one I knew how long to bake it, and at what temperature. And some of the DiGiorno pizzas tasted like whack 'n crack biscuits in a tube. :(  Unless there's a good sale again, I'm done with them. I can think of a half dozen brands I like better, anyway.
