I ordered this least expensive LEP:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D7YTCH5P?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

It is an off brand (?) LUMINTOP Thor MINI Rechargeable LEP Flashlight - 350 Lumens, 700 Meters Range, Laser Technology, Waterproof, Green.  I need something to put light on the 200 yard target at night when the solar motion lights go out and I'm trying to eliminate a feral dog.  I have no doubt the $200+ models will do the trick...but if this one does it as well then I'm money ahead.

Still, it was $80+.  Give me a week to get it, charge it and try it.  I'll get back with ya'll.

Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom.
It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.

I'll be awaiting the report. It says Powered by two 1100mAh 18350-C batteries, but it only takes one. The Baton Turbo is also powered by one 1100mAh 18350 battery, and comes with a sleeve to use readily available CR123A batteries. It's only $41.99 at Amazon, about half the price of the Lumintop, and has 4 times the lumens. I'm really curious if the Lumitop has a 700 meter throw like it says. If it does it beats the Baton Turbo's 510 meters by a long way.

I need it like I need another hole in the head, but I just used the DIY Bundle deal to order a Dream Blue Warrior 3S High Beam Tactical Flashlight. I already have the Stars & Stripes limited edition hanging by the front door, but I think I'll take the battery out and put that one up in storage. These use a 21700 battery that's just a bit longer and wider than an 18650 battery, 21x70mm vs. 18x65mm, but have a much higher capacity, 5000mAh vs. 3200mAh in the Baton 3 Pro, or 3500mAh in the Warrior Mini 3, which are both great lights in their own right. But when you can get over 40%-55%+ extra capacity in a tiny bit larger battery, why not?

I added a couple of the cheapest flashlights in the bundle to get 40% off all 3 of them, instead of just 30% off this one. I can always give them away as gifts. I'll most likely put the gold clip on my red, white, and blue flashlight to see how it looks with some extra bling. This one will probably still look good with a plain black clip on it. I used the $5 coupon that expired in 2 days, plus got a $3.89 reward. I added $1.85 for Worry-Free Delivery. I figured this time of year it was a good investment. If a porch pirate steals my package and I can get it replaced no hassle, I'll give in.

It's a cool white LED paired with the TIR optic lens that delivers up to 2,300 lumens of output. It has up to 55 days of runtime, 4-level battery and brightness indicators around the side switch, giving real-time reminders with a glance, and a built-in proximity sensor that drops the brightness level, protecting any nearby objects while turned on high, turbo or strobe mode. The two-stage tactical tail switch activates direct turbo or strobe with a single soft or hard press.

P.S. I've also recently been thinking about mounting the Stars & Stripes model on my 20" AR instead of the camo Warrior Mini 2. I think it will fit the Magpul flashlight mount.
