Many are with you Peg. My wife is a breast cancer survivor over 10 years now.  Sentinel lymph nodes were biopsied, lumpectomy performed, chemo and radiation after. No cancer since. She had people she knew and didn't know pray. What a concept to the power of faith.

This is a small prayer we used to read together:

Heavenly Father, You are intimately aware of the struggle I am experiencing -- the pain and the despair. You know the desire of my heart to be healed of this illness. I ask now for Your healing touch. I know that You are able and that just like in Bible times, You can heal me.

“I also understand that You will chose what is best for me. I pray that through this trial, I will draw close to You -- that You will be my comfort and strength. I pray that ultimately, whatever happens, You will be glorified through me. I pray this in Jesus’ name, amen.”

Keep the Faith Peg. You and Amy are certainly never alone.

God Bless

Peg this has lead to a GREAT thing, a prayer list, multiple prayers from many people, it is my priviledge and duty to pray for Amy , not to mention my pleasure. Amy get well and Peg I want to pray for your strength, it is important, although you probably don't need it. Been there in my recent past, and prayers work,  wife in not only ICU, but isolation, 26 days, got myself together, and prayed the rosary everyday, ( I know some of you might not like that ) but she is with me still, not like she was, but she has a life as long as I'm around, Keep steady my friend and do not hesitate to call or ask on the forum. We are friends, even though we have not met.
