The Best Road Guns for Long Lonesome Highways

Michael’s been driving more and more, since airports are really grim these days, and he is a big believer in making sure you have a long gun handy (when legal). In this episode, he shows you how.

Triggered, previously SGO and Down Range TV, covers in depth topics and products related to shooting sports and personal defense. Host Michael Bane covers new products from the firearms industry like no other.

NOTE: There are virtually no firearms for sale  at MSRP in the USA today…

Featured in this episode:

Midway USA

Ruger PC Charger

KelTec Sub CQB

IWI Galil ACE 5.56 Pistol

  1. Excellent video, as always, Michael! I’m going to have to consider that Sub2K. Kel-Tec makes some excellent stuff. I love their tiny P-32.

Thanks again, Michael, for the videos and the podcasts.

  2. Yeah, the SUB2K does make sense. I have the CZ Scorpion with a brace. Great little gun to do “carbine” drills on my steel that doesn’t cause as much damage. But with its weight, I might as well use an AR pistol for travel (which I do).

Good to see you again, broadcasting in this new year!

  3. enjoyed the commentary Michael!! Greatly appreciate the weight specs and comparisons to your other fold and go or road gun choices. I have a Colorado Custom Firearms 9 AR , also glock, picatiny and M-lok compatible.. I had to weigh it after this episode. 6.3 lbs with red dot, iron sights, and laser flashlight mounted. no mags. So great in the car.. not quite as portable as the Ktec but in my opinion easier on the shoulder (braced sb3) trigger is only 4.9lbs .. guess we will all see what goes down with the braced pistols category this year!!
